A little while ago I got very interested in old German broadcast gear and I bought a few too many modules, so I've got a few racked pairs up here for sale.
I really love these EQ's, and the Filteks are incredibly full featured- 3 bands, variable Q, low/high pass filters, great bypass options. I'm just using less and less EQ these days, and I don't need as many channels as I've got. I'm still going to keep a few racked pairs though, the Filteks are great on guitars and 2buss and I like the Neumanns on bass and drums.
All units were racked by me a little while ago, and any dodgy caps have been replaced (which was only a very few- I have only replaced parts in units with problems).
The power supplies are all +24v mnats supplies (of the 1176 clone fame), with on/off LED and front panel switches etc. The wiring is pretty neat and tidy, but the metal work is not perfect. All good quality components- Neutrik jacks, Mogami audio cabling. Anyone who wants some high res pictures please get in touch and I'll send them through.
Filtek Mk5a SOLD
The Mk5 are the last full featured Filtek EQ's, and the 'a' denotes they were fairly early. The difference to the more common Mk5c/d is that the frequency plots are reversed (eg, 18k is on the right hand side, not left hand side)- otherwise they are very very similar. I'm not sure if there is any circuitry changes. I'm keeping a few Mk5d modules, and in terms of sound I can't pick the difference.
These are made in West Germany and have consecutive serial numbers.
They have-
Bypass switch
5 point low pass, 5 point hi pass.
Hi band- narrow/wide Q/bypass switch- +/-16dB at 12 points between 1.8khz and 18khz
Mid band- narrow/wide Q/bypass switch- +/-16dB at 12 points between 380hz and 3.8khz
Low band- narrow/wide Q/bypass switch- +/-16dB at 12 points between 50hz and 500hz
Peak overload light.
Haufe transformer in and out.
These modules are also racked with Tuchel connectors, so they can be removed and switched with a compatible unit by undoing 2 screws per module and unplugging.

Filtek Mk3
These are identical in features to the Mk5's, but are branded BFE. They are also West German, non consecutive serials. They are much bigger physically than the Mk5's (full size Danner modules). Please not these are hard-wired, and are not using Tuchel connectors. They are in really good physical condition. They are slightly more gentle sounding than the Mk5's, but that is really splitting hairs- all of the Filtek modules sound incredibly similar (I've got Mk2, Mk3 and a few different kinds of Mk5's).

Pretty well known modules I think.
3 bands, individual and master bypass switches, transformer in and electrically balanced out.
These are consecutive serial numbers, and I actually have a third unit that is consecutive as well (3 in a row!) that I would consider selling for backup if someone was keen.
Hard wired, no Tuchel.

I've also got a Motu 828 mkII kicking around, that I haven't used since upgrading my converters. Last I checked it had a slight problem with the ADAT- it received the full 8 channels of ADAT, but only seemed to send ADAT out the first 4. I don't have a way to confirm if this is still the case or if it was just incompatible with whatever ADAT converter I tested it with.
It's a great little full featured converter, with 10 in and 8 out, plus ADAT, SPDIF, MIDI, Headphone amp, limited DSP, Firewire etc. Great drivers and software too. It's no Apogee/Lynx, but it sounds good and is handy for location recording.
Good condition, missing one little knob. Chasing $400.
