Hi brainiacs, a mate of mine has a tiny venue and I'm looking at options to record the odd gig there. Need to split 8 lines from the mixer inputs that are a mix of di's (although they are phantom powered di's) and dynamic mics. I know of rack unit splitters you can buy, but anyone know of any plans/advice (any good affordable trannys etc) to diy some? I only need 1 in/2 out, real simple.
Thanks..

Something like this? I've seen others with cap/resistors on the ground at the split side.. do I need to get that complex?
