What is the point? They say "touch your plugin"!! How?? Via touch screen?? Isn't the point to "touch" your plugin via real knobs and faders.
How do you see this app? Do you think anyone remotely serious will consider using it??

Looks sorta useful....

i record at home...my control room is my bedroom, and i use the space inbetwen rooms to record, under a tent/gazebo thing. Would be cool to control my recording from an ipad or such, remotely via wifi, rtaher than set up a screen/keyboard/mouse dragging under the floor.

I'm a recording musician, so i'd be recording myself....something like this is handy if you want to record yourself performing.

My new pc is too loud so it's not a possibility to record IN my room...

I have this Senad. I think it's useful for two things.
1. Remote daw transport. I've used it a few times including a few weeks ago when I was controlling my daw from 2 rooms away from my setup.
2. Distant balances. It's cool for different mix perspectives like sitting on the lounge in the back of the control room or outside in the corridor/down the hall etc.

I'm not really going to use it to control anything else but for my purposes it works great.

Yes..I thought the remoteness of it was its strongest point...But the highest pitch on its Gearslutz advertising banner was " touch your plugin"..
I mean, I don't even own anything to put the app on, so...

Yeah.. I find it pretty useful ...sold my control surfaces and now just use this !

That's cool to hear Nymo- I've always had a dual monitor display with one for the Arrange window and one for the Mixer, but I've been thinking it would be cool to just have the Mixer on a touchscreen device of some sort- mostly so I could grab more than one channel at a time. I haven't really liked the (admittedly cheaper) control surfaces I've had.

Do you have any noticeable lag?

They're pretty smooth gliding faders and don't push'n'pull like control surface motors.
I've been enjoying the feel of the faders more than any of the motorised faders I've used in the past (includes Neve and SSL console FF's). So much better than a mouse for automating. Portable and cost effective if you have your iPad already.

You can also use 8 fingers on 8 faders if you like doing things that way.
