WTB: 3U Rack Drawer for youth centre

Hey,

I run a youth centre in Merrylands NSW, and we are looking for a 3U rack drawer for our audio rack. It doesn't need a key lock as it will simply be used to store all the cables for the sound system we use.

We would prefer to buy 2nd hand due to not having much money.

Let me know what you have, and if you have a picture then that would be great.

no offense intended but perhaps a bit more of an introduction would be a good idea before posting a wanted in the for sale section. We also put our names/location in our signatures so everyone knows who and where they are, makes for a better sandpit. Whats the youth centre you work for and what audio stuff do you guys do there?

The youth centre is called the Encounter Youth Centre. I am actually the Associate Minster at Merrylands Baptist Church, and the youth centre is something I started about 1.5 years ago as a way to connect with, and serve, the youth in the community.

I didn't mention what audio stuff we did there because it wasn't relevant - didn't want to clutter up the post with too much information. But since you asked, we put free bands on once a term, including working with the youth who can play instruments and sing, to provide opportunities for them to perform. Every other week we simply allow the youth to plug in their iPods and play music through the sound system.

We have a 14U (or thereabouts) rack, which houses our powered mixer (which I would love to upgrade at a later point), all the wireless mic receivers (Sennheiser ones we recently purchased), power distributor, and a 2U lockable drawer to hold the Mics. So we are wanting a 3U drawer (doesn't need to be lockable) to hold all the cables that we regularly use, so that it is all stored together neatly.

Anyway, I came across these forums in my search for some sound stuff, so I thought I would see if anyone had a 2nd hand 3U rack drawer they were wanting to sell, before I fork out the extra money on a brand new one.

I've had a look but they don't have any drawers at this stage, let alone a 3U one. I will keep an eye out though.
