Changing tubes in TL audio products

Hey there,

I have a 2ch Ebony pre amp & I wanted to change the tubes out for some NOS tubes. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with changing out the tubes? Did it improve the sound. Also which tubes should I be looking at. Any help would be great.

Not sure about that particular model, but anything like NOS Mullards are the way to go.

I've replaced tubes in those products before with very little success. I think it was far more economical to replace the units instead.
Ex- fellow TL audio Ivory user.
Having said that I very much like their first offerings in the P units they put out. I did some comparisons between some more expensive gear and choose to keep my P2 valve pre-amps and sold the more expensive units.
