Hi Cribble
Where is that mod done please?
I have one as well...let's hope we all never want to sell them at the same time !

The thing is amazing on 90% of things you throw at it. Especially the EQ section. Great compressor too although a little fiddly. But with a piece of gear at this level, you expect the operator to know "how to fiddle".
The sidechain insert is very useful and I use it 90% of times, mostly the lower bands, but high freq. also very useful to control/save cymbals.
TSP
Definately my hardest piece to decide to sell, but I know I won't be doing much mixing for at least a few months and could use the cash elsewhere.

It's changing one resistor that speeds up the attack and release time.
I believe Mick Wordley does it, but just about anyone who can solder could do it.

Thanks Andy.
Senad, I really love the Tsp too !
Adds lower mid fullness .
This compressor adds a great sheen to anythiing it touches .
And the 32khz.band eq is magic !

Re: Avalon 747; Make me a realistic offer
a friend of nick f from this forum did it here. called earthling designs or something. i barely touch the meters though. tsp is good and eq sculps like a beast. but damn.. its heavy and not easy to move.
