Railroad Gin 'A Matter of Time'

In my opinion one of the best Australian songs of the 1970's, for those who don't know these guys, Railroad Gin were a Brisbane band and featured the red head Carol Llyod, who had such a great voice. 'A Matter of Time' is still played on one or two Brisbane radio stations. I just love this track and the production that went into it.

This was recorded at Multi Media studios in Brisbane in 1974, I can still remember doing my first ever studio session as a percussionist at the same studio as 16 year old kid a little later in the 70's, and seeing the album covers on the wall, I was in awe of this song even then and still am to this day.

I used to live next door to the flute player!

They played a lunchtime gig at my high school (the Principal was told "they're in the top 10" and asked "what's a top ten?"). I suppose that was probably my first rock concert.
