Hey all, does anyone want to sell me an old PT8LE disk for beer money?

well i guess there'd be little point in registering it, so just a legit disk and serial number would be cool.

Hey Wez! I think most versions of Protools 8 require an ilok.

i just assumed that PT8 is the same as earlier versions - install from the disk and enter the serial?

but i have an ilok if it's needed.

I actually run 7.3 on my G5, that has been my rock solid studio machine for a number of years now, and i have no immediate plans or desire to update beyond that. the only reason I need PT8 is because i've recently bought an intel macbook pro (7.x won't run on it), and even though it's not my main protools machine, i like to have a spare system on hand, and for the occasional location recording.

I was going to sell a copy of PT8 MP a while back, but the cost of licence transfer is more than what the s/w is worth..... (and you need an ilok)....
