Does anyone know why when I burn a CDR Master in Toast 10 - why the text does not show on itunes when I place the disc back in the computer?
Or does the info come only when uploaded to the Itunes store?
Got me stumped....

Re: CD Text - from Toast to Itunes
Hi Chris
You have to submit your text to Gracenote or similar:
http://www.gracenote.com/casestudies/itunes/
The text you burn onto your CD is also readable by some CD players that have the text read facility
but to see your text in iTunes or WMP you have to submit it to a global database.
I don't know if toast lets you submit your text but other programs like Samplitude/Sequoia let you do this.

If i remember correctly I think if you rip / load up your just burned disc to Toast there's an option to submit the track names (read off the CD) to gracenote.

There was an apple script floating around that automated the process in itunes too.
EDIT: there we go http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/s ... xttocdinfo
