Hi all, a couple more little mics that aren't getting enough usage and need to move em into the big bad world...

Really well made 'active dynamic' (meaning it's a dynamic that requires phantom power) microphone from one of the best young mic building companies in the world. (I have a Mouse and a Blue Ball that get use on pretty much every recording session I do).

This is from their first run of 'live' mics. It's the middle child in the family (there's a '100' - dynamic, and a '300' - condenser). Equally good in the studio though on snare, brass, voice...

Has a 'modern' sound - good air, not too much. Low handling noise, you can pick it up and it doesn't pop and fizz.. Real good gain before feedback properties. It just isn't getting the use it should in my hands.

I bought this for my girl to use live - I thought it would be a simple, nicer sounding alternative to the usual battered 58 at venues. It turns out the phantom power required was a bridge too far for some of the engineers encountered around the traps, also the shoddy state of venue mic leads didn't help... So she went to a Beta57, my Beta57. So I need a new one of those...

I still have the box, but the original carry case is gone, but I'll throw in a Shure one. There are a few dings on the brass coloring around the cage on the top, purely cosmetic though..

Solid entry level, fixed pattern (cardioid) condenser microphone.

I bought it about 5 years ago, mild use in it's life time.

Really good rear rejection.

Works well on most acoustic instruments, maybe a little bright for high female voices and brass.

It has 10dB pad and LF roll off switches on the side.

No case, but again, I'll throw in a Shure pencil case style baggie.
