Long time browser, first time poster... Im starting a YouTube channel with reviews of some gear that I luv to use.

Your review has been met with some interesting responses.

Maybe you should try the comp on a beat or instrument next time so we can hear it in action. Just run it into your interface when you record the video and sync the HQ soundfile up.

No offence or anything, but just pointing out the knobs and reading what each one is called isn't a review.
Most people can read, so if your hoping to be helpful you need to actually use the plugin in the video on some audio and explain what it's doing and why you like or dislike what it's doing. Maybe point out some features that make it unique or why it's a favourite of yours.
You're just showing what stuff looks like, not really reviewing it... (just constructive criticism, no trying to be an @ss or anything)

Love your no bullshit review style.......serious! Just wondering, did you use the H-Comp on Don't You Drink and Drive? That track is slamin huge on my macbook's speakers! :D

You have a good ear! I did in fact use H-Comp on my stereo bus for this track. It gets a lot of good loudness factor while being very apparent. Not to mention it's warmth factor with the analog function.
