PT 9 for a PC needed....

Postby The Tasmanian » Wed Nov 21, 2012 8:16 pm

Ive got a project on where I need to run Protools on a PC at times -
and move between my mac's and the PC (which should be no problem).
Firstly - as I own a copy of PT9 on my ilok - can I get a PC copy of vers 9.? - and still use my licence?
Secondly - what version of 9 was hassle free - I remember there were issues with a particular version of 9.
anywayz....
..has anyone got a copy of a PC installer that they may want to part with?
Not interested in PT10
Thanx Gents

Chris, shouldn't both PC & Mac installers be available for download directly from your Avid account? It's not platform specific so you can use the licence on either.

I'm using 9.06, the last version of 9, on a PC & it runs fine. I can't remember the version I had trouble with that randomly output white noise. 9.01 I think.

I upgraded to PT10 and it removed the PT9 installers in your account. I do have a copy of these I saved if you need a copy. Let me know.

Cheers
