Man, second time I have done this in the last ten years...
coffee, knocked it over, went everywhere, immediately pick everything up, hit the power button...
got it all cleaned up, everything is okay, except for my kensington mouse...
ripped it to bits, cleaned it up, but its gone to meet its maker....
dammit, 100 bucks to replace...
well could have been much worse, last time it was a new keyboard....
The need to make a (stupid) engineers sippy cup.

man, I have only been using the magic mouse for 30 mins and my wrist is sore already..

Just watched a youtube clip of Glenn Gould at Columbia Studios in NY in the late 50's/ early sixties, and the engineers are pouring coffee into cups on the desks, ciggy smoke absolutely everywhere.....quite a contrast to the white- labcoated horn-rimmed scientific clean living techs (so it seems) of the BBC in the same era.

Agreed. Not just the BBC though - EMI were much the same in that era, with spotless equipment and white lab coats on all the techs.
