Can you identify these microphones?

Hi All,

I am searching out a couple of old mic's for a theatre show about Judy Garland. The best references I have found for the correct period (1968-1969) are these:

I am hoping some out there might be able to identify either of these mics and if I am super lucky point in the direction of where I might find something similar.

Any one want to take a guess?

It's hard to know for sure But my gut feeling is
Orchestra hand held one is an later altec
Lipstic tube mic with a 680 gatekeeper capsule
Attached .. But I have never actually seen such a mic
And the xlr connector doesn't look quite right
For lipstick early models so it may well be a model
That I have missed .. Or one of the oddball shoeps mics and heads
That I know nothing about !

The other one .. Who knows ?

You are not finding one of these lipstick with gatekeeper
Heads or odd ball scheops in any easy eBay search .. Sorry

I would suggest what ever you need to research the correct mics for Is
Commendable but those mics are unidentfiable from that footage
And photos and overkill in a lovely train spotting way
Off coarse I would be delighted to know what they actually
Are .. Because I am in educated guessing land

The band spot mics are obviously u47

My money is on an Electrovoice 636 painted white.

It's the right era. There are pictures of JG singing into the same mic attached to a stand (the stand mount was removable) and the replacement plug which could change the impedance looks alot like the one in the youtube clip.

Not sure how hard they are to find. I have a 667 and a few others. I've seen similar EV's on ebay before.

That at least gives me some good places to start searching.
I don't hold high hopes of finding the correct models but those guesses have pointed me in the right direction.

Really as long as I find something that looks like the right period should work.

I will keep searching. Any other ideas people have please put them forward.
