Neil Finn & Paul Kelly @ The Sydney Opera House

Watching the live stream of the opera house gig now, great way to spend a quiet night in. I wasn't able to get to any of these gigs unfortunately, so it's a nice consolation.

Sounds great... anyone here (Jason B, Gareth?) involved in the production/FOH/streaming?

Hi Wez,
I mixed the webstream audio from the new Recording and Broadcast studios at the Opera House with my trusty co pilot Tod Deeley calling the instrument an vocal changes, kind of of like an offroad car rally team.
" Paul Kelly harp straight ahead, take it down to 3rd captain"
It's not hard to mix such great talent.
Thanks for the kind words.

The mix sounded great on my Dynaudio BM6's.
A real pleasure to experience. Congratulations all round.

fanstatic watch, kudos to all involved.

As i watched it, I couldnt help but think...

Just like in the studio, Live mixing, must be made a hell of a lot easier, by the crafting of the "song"

Both those guys can write, play and vocally deliver songs that are just, open, beautifully constructed and allow
everything to talk within the song, without beating the faders to death.

The bands not half bad either 8)

great stuff!!!
