Freight options from Sydney to Bris ??

Postby NYMo » Mon May 06, 2013 3:49 pm

Hey..

I have a small(ish) console that I need to get sent from Sydney to Brisbane.

If anyone can suggest or help with freight options it would be greatly appreciated.
The console is a Yamaha 1516 (does anyone in SYD have a roadcase I could borrow for that ?) and is currently housed in Ricks facility( thanks so much Rick !)

If anyone has any ideas , Im all ears.

Cheers

ermm .. i am a bit concerned about this nymo .. consoles have a habit of stopping at my place for a coffee break
and then staying forever !

presuming you didnt pay too much for it the simpliest way is to call a furniture freight type company like kent removals
( who i have used lots ) and get em to add it on a brisbane delivery .. for instance i sent a huge neve 8028 from brisbane to sydney for $1000 maybe 5 years ago and this thing is a 15 th of the size ..
but i still reckon is a $400 move.

Hmmn. Something's not right. There's definitely something about consoles and coffee that shouldn't be mixed! /:)

Don't worry Rick...it won't be hanging around long ! ( it's not partial to coffee !)

I do have access to a road case up here..but just also seeing if somebody has something better than ego.com ?

Or somebody that knows somebody in the transport business or a reliable company that someone can recommend.
