yep... LOVE it!
I normally leave it patched into the 2bus but have also tracked a heap of things through it.

'Organic' is a word I would use to describe the sound, everything that goes through it sounds great & 'musical'.
I have no issues with the whole idea of so-called 'coloured' conversion, some people like things sounding super transparent and sure that has it's applications, but as you may have read it's NOT super coloured per se (read: thick like butter, lots of harmonic distortion etc), it just adds a touch of warmth, maybe 5-10%, but if it gets me to my end result quicker, so be it!
No this is not a sales pitch, just a very happy user telling you my experiences!
Would love to try multitracking through the mothership and then mix OTB.

Also when using the Burl as my clock master I've found the width and depth on my lynx aurora sound noticeably better... eg on one album the drum room actually sounds 10 feet behind the monitors compared to when the lynx is clocked internally. YMMV

Where are you located Peter?

Ahhh not quite up the road unfortunately.
Yes I bought it from awave, I think it was the first one in the country so there wasn't a demo unit at the time. I just bought based on all the good reviews I heard.
I think I remember Lewis saying a few months ago that he had a demo unit available... Possibly with the DAC too.
He may still have a mothership available for demo if you want to take the plunge! I was offered it but seeing as I wanted the B2 for my 2bus, I went with that as it has the attenuator. (which is post transformer, pre converter FYI)
