Waves API Native Collection not for sale anymore.

Hi all.

Just bought and down loaded yesterday. Loved demo. Current version won't work with my version of DP. Want $450.

Demoed the plugins a couple of months back. Loved them even though they would not present properly on my version of Digital performer. Decided to buy them and now they won't work at all. Can't up grade to the current DP because I have an entire album recorded in my old version and it won't play nicely with the new DP.

Pain in the rear.

Means I have to sell the bundle as Waves support have said there is nothing they can do. Which is fair enough as I took a gamble. Has not paid off.

I believe the license can be returned with an email to Waves support and I have to pay them some dough to make the transfer to the new owner.

When I demoed it the 550b eq and the 2500 comp were outstanding. Didn't load up the other two eqs so I can't comment.

$450

Spigg

PS. I down loaded the license yesterday, so the bundle is essentially brand new.

Hi.

I use DP as well, what version and OS are you using?

Have you contacted motu to see if there is a solution?

Cheers.

I am using osx 6.8 and DP 5.13.

Haven't contacted motu.

It is pretty obvious the package is not compatible but I thank you for your suggestion and it has made me think of one other option which I will try.

Thanks,
Spigg

Mmm that's a very very old version now and IMHO one of the worst releases but ymmv.

The latest is 8.2, I'm using 7.3 as it's completely stable.

You could upgrade to 8 for 200 bucks and keep the plugins.

You are right. It is very old.
It has always worked and I use mostly outbound gear so I have never felt the need to change.

I down loaded 8 as a demo but it was not really happy with me loading my 5.13 projects on. Some played, some didn't.

It was on the same drive as my 5.13, so maybe that upset it. I will get a new drive and start a fresh with the demo and see how it goes.
