Nice..I used to have a rubber necked Casio guitar controller in the late 80s...the rubber fretboard was a bit iffy,
One would really have to play one to know what's its like.
But I'm sure it's way lighter than my current 88 !

I have a vague memory of seeing Adrian Belew playing a rubber-necked guitar in a video of a Laurie Anderson performance many years ago. It really was rubber-necked (as opposed to rubber-fingerboarded). Lord knows how he kept it in tune.

But then it was Adrian Belew!

what a fabulous performance that was...i remember one part was a piece where the synth player was "talking to Laurie Anderson on the phone", on the other side of the stage complaining that the mini Moog would not stay in tune.
Also the boiler suit with the drum triggers.

great stuff from a intelligent, witty performer
