Porta Studio Please?

Postby blackfoot » Wed Dec 25, 2013 12:01 am

Hey Trockers , Happy Happy Joy Joy & etc. I'm still looking for a Ta@#$% 144 or equivalent to use for a one off transfer. I'm in Sydney, does anybody have a deck I could hire, beg, borrow steal ? Thanks.

Jim
I know a guy up here in Bundaberg that has a 644. If that would do it I could probably arrange him to lend me the machine and I do the transfer for you...free of course (probably buy him some beers)

Let me know and I can chase it up

Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply Peter, that sounds like an excellent offer. For some reason some old sentimental tunes that were on quarter inch ended up on a 144 at hi speed. If the track alignment is the same on tha 644 I can deal with the speed deviations. Let's PM & exchange vital details. Jb

If the the 644 is like the 246, tracks 2 and 4 have the phase flipped - so you may need to flip the phase of these when you get it into your DAW.
