2013 - Year in Review

It's not 2014 yet!

I spent a lot of time this year working down at Jungle Studios helping out record a few bands with Lachlan Mitchell such as The Vines (who knows if it'll get released), Louis London (my fav song to have come out of here this year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQm9YNk1O1M) and Little Bastard (great bluegrass, most fun I've had recording all year!).
I also rebuilt the studio in a weekend as we decommissioned the old MTE console we had in there and replaced it with SSL X-Desk and X-Panda. It was a bit of a mission, but it all went very smoothly. Can be seen in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7867

Also started getting into DIY. Built two of the blue stripe Hairball 1176 kits and am looking for new things to try building. If anyone has any tips on what could be next I'd be happy to hear them. I can do patchbays and connectors no problems, but give me the internals of gear and I'm still a little hazy.

I also work down at JMC and we had a 48ch SSL Duality installed, so becoming proficient at that enough to teach others how to use it is a nice little thing to have done too.
