OB Van / Live Broadcast Mix

Postby smash » Wed Jan 22, 2014 4:12 pm

Hey Guys,

Need to find an OB van to mix a week long conference.

Conference will be in the Ent. Cent in Darling Harbour, April 21st Bump In, Show 22nd to 25th.

Approximately 70 channels, need to end up with an OP59 PGM mix, as well as Multitracking all channels, with full TC sync to a TV record too.

Can anyone recommend anyone good, but not crazily expensive?

PM me, or reply here.

It would be worth pinging Ben - either via the forum (Ben M) or his website (http://harvestrecordings.com.au/)

hi simon

both ben and/ or i could do that job.
I've got the 70ch of multitrack (redundant aswell) no problems.. and sound craft digital consoles to mix, but all my racks are "fly in" so i usually work from a room onsite.
ben has a great little van (not 70ch capable, but can interface with my stuff)
id say we could work together on it and easily cover your needs.
ill drop you a line

Sounds like a bit of fun Simon.
Unfortunately I'll be sipping latte's in Paris on those dates and won't be back until April 24th.
Gareth is your man for this, but if you need an OB van aswell he knows my truck and is welcome to incorporate it into the job if its needed.
The Harvest van has 48 inputs/tracks and could be a comfy space to do the combined mix from...aswell as the backup record.
All the best

Hi Simon,
I'd recommend Cadsky or Simmo.
I'd be more than happy to chat with you too considering I know what the event is. :)
