There is a promo code on the page, runs till next month I think. The micro pitch is cool.

Great sounding strip.
What's the dsp hit like for those of you in pt11? In 10 on my 8 core 2009 Mac Pro it uses up to 70% for one channel!

I'm on Windows, i7, 8core running native not HD
PT10 1 mono instance is around 8%
PT11 1 mono instance is around 5%

Haven't tried it on my Macbook yet.

What a great freebie!

It hits the CPU a fair bit but it sounds really good. The compressor is definitely not subtle but is very useful, the EQ is nice, microshift is very nice (cleaner than the old H3000 sound) and the delay is useful.

Very good.

Is it available to download or are you on their beta tester list?

I wrote them saying the omnipressor was giving PT11 massive spikes and locking it up and the ultrachannel was a little heavy CPU wise. They said they had found code common to both plugins that may have been the issue and if I would mind testing it on the ultrachannel as it was ready before the omnipressor. It was miles better. Massive difference. They said OK, cool, we'll put it out.

I've been testing PT11 on a separate partition til I'm happy its stable and still work on 10 til then. Been waiting for a good channel strip I like and omnipressor as last bits of the puzzle. Need my omnipressor.

It's available as a free update. they received alot of flack about the CPU usage, (froze my DAW too), and hence promptly fixed it.
