Looking for a loadbox that can take 100w and be able to post to Sydney.

Hi Lachlan. I have a Palmer ADIG-LB silent speaker/loadbox I am selling. Load happens via tungsten bulbs. Cab emulation via a passive filter network. I think it will load up to 120watts at 8ohms. 2 voicings, British styled and American styled. A full range pot to blend in the original amplifier signal untouched by the filters. I find blending a little in thickens the sound and helps the crunch. It sounds good. Great tool for silent recording 100watt heads. Very useable sounds for demos. I much prefer it to plug in amp sims. Eddie Van Halen and a bunch of guys were using the first versions that came out in the 80's. Production stopped and then the maker came back some years later and re released the original, made the version I am selling with the extra features and is making a bunch of other products now. I'm selling because I have an ISO cab I use primarily for demos. Selling for $500. Cheers

I can vouch for the Palmer.
I have an original Palmer PDI 03 and it's a great sounding load box. I don't use the cabinet outs but rather the line out into either RedWire or the 2 Notes Plugin Cab simulators in my DAW.
To this end I got Rob Squire to build me a 2 channel load box with switchable Ohms..(no built in Simulator..just line outs) .
This was really inexpensive.
Maybe drop him a pm

Hey Trent, thanks for the offer but I'm looking for a unit that is strictly a loadbox. I do all my cab emulation in Pro Tools. Hoping to grab something like the Jet City Jettenuator that's fairly small and cheap.

Steve, that'd be perfect. I'll have to shoot him a message!
