Studio furniture in sydney?

Postby Sammas » Thu Jul 05, 2007 2:39 pm

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of any available studio furniture outside of the usual sound devices and legacy furniture stuff?

I'd really like something like this, but only two 19inch racks wide (ie, without the space for the C24 in the middle).

Anyone know of anything like this available in Oz? I get the impression that it might need to be a custom job by a local cabinet maker.

Nath,
I posted the same thing a little while ago (it might have even been a PM to Rick!!)
I ended up using Ebay and got a bargain..
Got a workstation for $51 and the guy had 2 - so he GAVE me the other free when I drove to Wollongong to collect it!!
I used both items to make a 'super workstation'..

Hey Tim!

$51 for two desks  Makes me even more apprehensive about even considering forking out $1500 for an argosy style desk. Hows the new gig going?

Hey Nath,
Argosy look really nice - but $$$
Legacy make some nice stuff too - but not as $$$ as Argosy.. but still $$

New gig - well, I'm trying to get a job in a studio - bit hard when you are a PT newbie. Aiming to finish my PT Cert Operator course in December - its pretty expensive..
