Soundcraft 6000 help

Postby andygriffiths » Fri Nov 28, 2014 5:14 pm

Hi everyone,

Not sure if I should have put this post in the DIY section. I'm making some EDAC looms for a client for his 6000 series console. I have all the pinouts for the connectors which is all good. I'm just a little confused on the tie line pinout as there is hot & cold pins but no GND. If wondering if someone on here might know what pin letter I'm meant to use for the GND. I have included the pinout. Any thoughts on this would be great.

Hey Andy

Easiest thing to do if you don't have the right info on the pinouts is to open up the console/channel strip if possible & see where the grounds connect to via the edac points. Should all be tied to some buss bar somewhere. If no easy wire to follow, ye old continuity test might show you where!

Happy wiring :)
