Anyone been to Smpte and seen it in person? Looks like a nice little console... probably costs a fortune though. :(

i had a long chat to josh the guy that makes them at the show
its going to be about $40k aus

for those that are curious it is all class A all discrete runs 45 volt rails is very heavy and he says it get reassuringly hot

the power supply took the wrong plane from texas so its just eye candy this week
they are only to be custom ordered
max output number of 50 per year
current back orders of 4-6 months wait time
the first bunch have been ordered by american pro basketball players !

i had a look at it at SMPTE
very nice
love the wooden sides
and the faders feel fantastic

the portico stuff was just next to it
they feel great too
the knobs feel real, unlike the knobs on AMS Neve stuff

didnt get to hear any of it but
all i can say is they look and feel very very nice
