FS Giles Audio Modded CAD Trion Tube LDC

This is a CAD Trion 8000 LDC Tube mic that I had modded by Ross Giles in 2012. He performed his usual magic and did major component upgrades to the circuit which, amongst many other things, included changing the tube from stock to a 6AK5. The capsule has also been upgraded from the stock K67 to an RK47 from http://www.microphone-parts.com.

This mic went from good to great and it now has a smooth top end and nice bass response but the biggest improvement was in the mid range which now sounds upfront and present but never harsh.

I'm reluctant to sell this because its a unique mic in my collection but I'm moving to a portable setup and carrying this around in its own case while the rest of my mics fit into a similar size case isnt really working.

The mods from Giles Audio cost $535, the mic capsule cost $120 and the mic itself was $200 so I'm just trying to recover the mod cost. I'm in Mount Helena, Perth, WA and happy to ship
