has anyone else realised that the 'apple-space" way of dropping into record seems to have been removed from PT11?
there are some other shortcuts noted, and per the manual the numeric keypad "3" seems to be the preferred option.. but i have decades of muscle memory (from dropping in on analogue machines, all the way through to PT10) of going in to record in that way.
have googled but cant find much.
am i crazy?
any way to get it back?

Command + spacebar worked for me in 11, and still does in 12. Has the 'show spotlight search' keyboard shortcut somehow become checked in keyboard preferences?

Command space bar works for all versions just somehow didnt work the other day for my session on your puter.
Spotlight is ticked correctly.
Totally Weird!!
I tried a few things but wouldn't behave.
The number 3 takes you directly into record doesn't it? Rather than punching in...? Same with F12...
Truely had me baffled all weekend. So I ended up using the transport punch in/out.

Re: quick punch PT11
its def not a spotlight thing (been there before)
the reason i asked if it was removed, is in the menu, the shortcut is no longer listed next to quick punch (where it used to be)
weird!!!

Re: quick punch PT11
Just went through this yesterday in PT12. It was a key command I had to disable. Won't be in front of tools till mon to look sorry.

This was indeed un checking the spotlight key command not something else like I thought. For the record PT 12 HD native running on Yosemite with no probs so far.
