Hi Guys,

I hate windows. Windows hates me.

I'm migrating to my mac pro, but there's no PCIe etc.

Also, just minimising my studio to a writing studio/simpler setup.

So first I'm selling my interface.

included:
1 x SSL AlphaLink ADAT (24 analog IN/OUT. 24 ADAT IN/OUT)
1 x MADI Xtreme 64 PCIe card with MADI Cable
6 x DB25 Planet Waves Modular Snakes with TRS Ends

+ Plus I'm throwing in the following:
1 x XLR male to XLR female (8) snake
2 x TRS to TRS (8) snake
1 x TRS to XLR Male (8) snake
1 x TRS to XLR Female (8) snake
2 x be!@#$%^& Ultrapatch Pro Patchbays

SOLD

Would like EFT to eliminate Fees. Rick O'Neil can vouch for me.

Hi Dwane,

What length are the Planet Waves DB25 Modular Snake cores and would you be willing to sell them separately? I am looking for a few more of these as I have invested in some of the XLR fan-outs, but need a few different length core cables.

Kind regards,
George

Hi George,

Sorry! I'd like to keep them bundled with the interface so that whoever buys it has a turn-key solution.

Thanks for your response!

Hi Dwayne.
Excuse my ignorance, but do you get all 48 channels of I/O simultaneously via MADI?
Also, which version of Windows did it not work properly on and which DAW application?
Thanks!

Hi Senad,

Oh, the interface worked fine on Windows 7 professional. Never actually had problems with the DAW or the interface.

It's my windows machine which was always dying! I'd get blue screen of death, and then it wouldn't boot. So I'd have to re-install or fix the windows installation. I was running my PC off a Revodrive 2 PCIe solid state. I think it was due to that. Also, the motherboard I used didn't have a great reputation for reliability I found out in retrospect!

Apparently you can run 24 channels of analog and 24 channels of ADAT at the same time.

But I don't have any ADAT equipment, or have even approached using more than 16 channels at a time. So I never really used this to it's full extent. Hence the reason for the sale.

I use 1 in and 2 out at most. lol.

Thanks for that Dwane. It piqued my interest, because it seems like a good "all in one" (kind of) solution, but I'm just so scared of touching any element of my computer system. :-ss
I'll do some research on this system you have and see how I go.

Cheers
