our new systems are all up and running and this has now got to go. split up from the full package, now available as:
decomished fully working Pro Tools HD system.
PCIe core card, and 2x Accel cards (HD3 system)
PTHD10 licence on ilok2
Mac Pro - 3.1 build
8 core 2.8G
8GB ram
airport card
3 empty drive bays - just slot in your audio drives and good to go
full new system install of OSX lion, and PT 10HD on system drive
System was removed from a fully functioning studio
plenty of power for big sessions (we where running with 3 auroras for 48io)
only moving because upgraded to new computers and HDX
everything in good used condition, only notable problem is the missing drive door on the mac
drive still functions fine, ejects/ plays/ burns, its just the outer drive shutter missing.
id love this gone before EOFY.
so offering at what i think is an extremely fair price here.
$2600

Re: full HD3 system with licence
Sooooooo this sale couldn't have happened at a better time to be honest, had about 2 hrs of down time mid session yesterday as one of my ram cards just died on my mac pro!!
Took me ages to diagnose the problem as thought it was a HD/kernel error so was restarting onto a mac osx disk trying to repair disk permissions but to no avail, computer would just lock up and go to a black screen. Noticed that the light on the front was flashing intermittently after a while of troubleshooting so checked online and low and behold - pram/pvram failure.
Quickly narrowed it down to the 2gig older corsair sticks so took that whole module out and just used one with 4x4gig sticks.
Worked a treat and the whole system is much faster than it has been over the last few weeks so must've been dying slowly...
Client is an old friend and was very understanding, he also gave me a hand, just meant didn't get out til 2.30am.
Bring on HD with a backup machine!!
Cheers
