ADM 1540 EQ pair racked by Rob Squire - $750

Great sounding inductor based EQ's - built like a tank with mil-spec knobs, stepped gain, electronically balanced inputs and Harrison transformer balanced outputs.

I bought the rack kit from Orphan Audio in the USA hoping to complete it myself, but never got around to it so sent it to Rob Squire at Pro Harmonic to finish it off. Rob said "Good reliable EQ's. These (Harrison tx's) are fantastic transformers and coupled with the balanced input give noise at -82dBu max, output level > 26dBu and response flat from 20Hz to 30kHz."
Rob also built an external chassis for the power supply, which connects to the main unit with a 5pin XLR.

Have used on mix bus, vocals, percussion and guitars - and they're great everywhere! The stepped gain is particularly handy for recalling settings.
