All items located in Surry Hills, can ship at buyers expense.

Custom built passive monitor controller - SOLD:

I built this a few years ago for myself but no longer need it due to having a different setup now.

It has the following features:

I/O:
3 balanced stereo inputs
3 balanced stereo outputs
1 balanced mono output (selectable and bypasses stereo outputs)
Balanced VU meter output (split of input signal, post switching, pre level control

Switching:
Left cut
Right cut
Mono
Left channel polarity invert
Speaker cut
Headphone cut

HP Amp:
JLM 'Amp Head' HP amp (48VDC PSU included)
HP amp follows input selection.
HP amp can be switched to source it's input from input two making it possible to have a 'control room' mix and an 'artist mix'
HP amp outputs to 1/4" and minijack outputs which are mirrored on the rear of the unit

Other:
Volume control is a 23 position rotary switch with matched SMD resistors, this feels like the level control on an 88r
Knobs are all genuine AMS neve knobs purchased directly from them.
Unit is star grounded and meticulously wired inside.
Powder coated Hammond enclosure

VU Meters - SOLD:

This unit was custom made by myself, again no longer needed.

The unit features an XLR input and pass through.

There are two internal calibration settings which are selectable via a rotary switch on the rear. This allows you to switch between two reference levels (I used one for mixing and one for mastering).

The illumination is via 12VAC globes which are switchable on the rear

The meters are powered by 12VDC which is also switchable on the rear giving you the following options:
- Meters on
- Meters and lights on
- Lights on only (really useful...!)

(Both PSU's included)

Sifam R22F Meters
JLM VU Buffer kits
Meticulously wired internally

Sanyo G2519 Turntable - $20:

I can't seem to get this to work but it sounds like it powers up.
Not sure if it's worth anything to anyone but here it is anyway:

Hi Peter,
when you say the mono output switch 'bypasses' the stereo outputs, does this mean the selected stereo output is muted?
And how are the ins & outs balanced, transformers?
thanks, Phil Georges

The post level control signal goes via the mono switch before the output selector.
unswitched the signal passes straight through to the output selector
When it's switched the signal is monoed and sent to a dedicated output and cuts the signal going to the stereo outputs.
I guess it could be changed so that the signal was split there, but I wanted it so that with one switch you could mono the signal and send it to a little auratone kind of thing.

There are no transformers, the signal remains balanced the whole way through via the 4PDT switches.
The stepped attenuator has 4 gangs and is set up as a separate voltage divider on each balanced leg of the stereo signal.
