FS: Focal Solo BE Monitors: $3150 (Melbourne)

I'm reluctantly selling my Focals, great condition. I A/B'd these against Opals and Adam A7 at Awave when I first bought these, and after longer than half an hour and switching the positions of each around, it was no contest. I was mainly writing/producing classically-oriented audio, sound design, TVC etc. I'd say these received light use considering I didn't have a commercial studio. The depth, tightness of bass, I really could not find any flaws.

I packed down my whole rig 2 years ago and have had these snuggly stored since. I can't remember what I paid originally, but they were bloody expensive. It's one of those "I don't want to sell in case I get the urge to use again" scenarios, but life moves on and so shall these inimitable monitors.

Tipping these aren't in the 'known' or desirable camp considering the lack of interest, or perhaps it's the lack of pictures! Either way, if you're potentially interested, give me a shout. I'll be overseas for 3 weeks come the end of the week and mostly off grid.

Still for sale, all. It may be unpopular to say, but I'm in no hurry to reduce the price - they are sitting pretty locked up and haven't been used for a 18 months or so now. Shame. I'd actually use them for my hi fi system if I could figure out how to force it to work with my yamaha amp!
