FS: Kurzweil K2500 with road case *SOLD*

I'm reluctantly parting ways with my trusty Kurzweil K2500.

This machine is a beast and is in excellent condition and works perfectly. The RAM has been expanded (80mb I think), and it has an internal hard drive loaded with samples from various sources and libraries. I can't remember everything that's on there but it includes the famous Steinway samples and the Real Rhodes collection, plus a bunch of analog synths, classic drum machines and lots of other stuff. Note also that there are heaps of libraries available online.

It comes with a custom made Transit Pak road case of the highest quality - I probably don't need to tell you that this alone cost more than the asking price!

I still reckon the K-series keyboards were amongst the best workstations ever built, and still very, very useful today. The semi-weighted keyboard is first class and at the very least would make a superb controller… but the Kurzweil synth engine is incredibly powerful and still holds its own. I've been playing with the analog synth textures a bit lately and they really are excellent.

This is a lot of keyboard for $600.

all the MGF sounds where on k2000 (and maybe 2500 for the last record)
even the vocal reverbs where through the FX engine, cause we didnt have anything else!
for that authentic machine gun fellatio sound - you have to buy this keyboard!

Love the Kurzs. Had a K2, K2VX and still have my K2600 for the past 10 years..... great boards.

EDIT: I should add that this K2500 doesn't have the KDFX engine... which was probably a big selling point back in the day, but not as relevant today.
