just spoke to tech today

1 channel needs a minor service it works ok still just makes a funny feedback noise, my tech tell me could be fixed with taking channel out and spraying switches with deoxit

3 (i think its that many) channels dont allow me to assign signal to tape , they are fine for playback from tape, tech says just got to spend time tracing wiring to patch bay.

apparantly only a few years ago most input ic's were replaced to cleanup up signal into desk

as usual with a desk of this age you get some crackly pots and switches/buttons and particularly the solo buttons/functions is very scratchy/noisy....but there are 2 solo functions on each channel that help you to solo

a few of the led VU's dont work but the 5 led lights on channel strips work fine

the desk was enhanced with additional trim level knobs on all channels

tech tells me the desk does not need recapping , but like with all vintage desks this is a quality desk that would deserve a recap down the track.

hope this helps
