is a different beast from later versions, this is the real deal , this is the version that was used on Michael Jackson’s Thriller & others. This particular mic was purchased from Trafalgar Studios/Charles Fisher in 1992. It has been used on many hit records ,Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Radio Birdman, Moving Pictures etc. It has deep Mojo . I used it with a pop filter inserted in the metal grill that is easily removed. It comes with a New Shure A7w popfilter. $1000
