The AWA BOB 2 is a 2 ch mic pre for outside broadcast with limiters or automatic gain control on each input and an input for telephone. Powered by C size batteries or external power. A tricky feature for the un initiated is when the headphones are removed, battery power is disconnected resulting in many noobs when first auditioning the BOB thinking the unit doesn't work
