As it says on the tin - what have you got?

Interested in trying out old moody / maton / whatever else pickups, looking for some new sounds out of an old tele.

After single coils yeah? If you're in need of humbuckers I'm about to sell a pair of expensive, boutique PAF clones by Throbak. Handwound and parts manufactured in the U.S. Some people think they are the best PAF's you can buy currently. Shoot me a message if you want to know more. Think I might be in your neck of the woods too. Cheers, Trent

Hey Dave, I've got a bunch of interesting things I've collected over the years... I'll dig out the box and have a look.

Thanks Trent - after single coils and unusual / oddball. I have something with PAFs in. I've got an experiment guitar that I've inflicted a bunch of weird stuff on and so looking for some pickups to match. Who wants to sound like everyone else?

That's the type of thing I'm looking for - do you know what's inside the tri-sonics?

So I found a GFS Retrotron (Filtertron style, sounded good in a tele from memory) and a couple of Matsumoku humbuckers. The one I assume you'd be interested in is the single coil, most likely from a 60's era Teisco or similar Japanese instrument. i believe they are quite sought after (but I don't need crazy money for it).

Tell me what it's worth and it's yours.

I think that single coil is out of a Greco hollowbody?

There's a guy I know selling a pair for $80 - so I guess it'd be worth $40 to me if that's not too low?

Not sure of the exact origin of the single coil but it could well be from a Greco. $40 sounds fine, email me with your details (via website in my signature).

Paul, you're more than welcome to the others if Dave doesn't want them.

Hi Wez

If the one to the right of the single coil is still available I'm keen.

Thanks!

It's not the most unusual thing ever but I've got a 6-pole strat style pickup that came out of a '76 Musicmaster bass that I don't need.

If it's of any interest, let me know.
