Tried all the Oz retailers listing it and the distributor themselves, none in stock.

Don't have one of those, but I've got an SPL 2381 that's not really being used at the moment if that's of any use. In basically mint condition.

I must say I'm pretty set on the Drawmer, but how much are you asking for the SPL and how do you find it in terms of sound transparency and build quality?

Very transparent - much nicer to listen through than any of the budget options, but I've never used the Drawmer so no idea how exactly it compares. And while it'd be missing a couple features (polarity and individual L/R mutes), retail is nearly double so I'd guess it compares favorably?

I reckon $600 could convince me to box it up. ;)

Sorry, mate. Forgot about this post. I ended up getting an Audient Nero, which is a great unit. Cheers.
